The Book Collection That Teaches Kids about Emotions
Through the stories of Luke, our goal is to help kids being comfortable with their emotions. The beautiful illustrations, the great stories, and the melodious rhymes make it so easy for kids to relate, understand, and open up. When they understand their emotions and have the coping skills to deal with them, they will be confident that they can handle whatever life throws their way.

Luke’s Day at the Zoo
Luke is the main character who visits a zoo with his parents and finds himself caught up in emotions like fear, jealousy, sadness, and anger.
Anger at the Dinosaur Museum
Luke goes on a birthday trip to a Dinosaur Museum with his grandparents. An opportunity for him to handle his big emotion – anger.
Fear at the Amusement Park
Luke goes on an exciting trip at the Amusement Park with mom and dad, and have to deal with fear in an unprecedented way.

Mariella Sanders is the nom de plume – or pseudonym – for our collective of emotional education enthusiasts. We have always had a knack for talking with children. Our trick? Treat them like adults while accounting for the things they might not know. Mental health is an important topic to us and we focus on teaching our own young family members emotional intelligence as well as how to communicate those big feels all wrapped up in little bodies. We hope to help parents raise emotionally aware, healthy children who know how to communicate their feelings in positive ways.
